As a Sydney-based, privately owned company, we've been buying and selling home furnishings for more than 35 years. Reflected in every piece of our assortment and in every interaction you have with our team you will see that while our stock may change, the principles that have guided us from the very beginning live strong today.

A FAMILY BUSINESS. STILL GOING STRONG FOR 35+ YEARS

Started by John Dellis in 1975, Dellis Furniture has been operating at our 656 Crown Street, Surry Hills location for over 35 years. Every member of the Dellis family clan has worked at "the shop" over the years, but it is John, who with an intimate knowledge of the area and a customer first approach to business has built the furniture retailer into a treasured part of the local Sydney community.

As a private family business based in the inner city suburbs of Sydney, we don’t seek approval from a faceless head office to make our customers happy. When you want to talk to somebody about furnishing your home, you are talking to the owners. Being totally independent affords us the freedom to pursue innovative ideas that satisfy customers, distinguishing Dellis Furniture from other furniture companies.

In recent years John has handed the reigns of the furniture retail operation to Spiro Dellis (his youngest son). Spiro has over a decade of experience bringing top-notch furniture products and a design approach to Sydney's furniture industry. With a deep knowledge of architecture, interior design and international furniture supply chains, Spiro has taken Dellis Furniture to another level by finding great manufacturers and designers internationally and locally and bringing them to life in our Sydney retail outlet.
