These new trading hours will help us implement some new and exciting ideas like our new eBay store, and an online store that we are currently working on! As well as give us a day to recharge the batteries!!!

In preparing for the launch of our 35 Year Anniversary, we dug up some great photos of John Dellis back in the hay day. You can see from the photos that both John and the shop have changed a lot over the years (for the better of course).

Hey everybody, this is just a short post to tell everybody how excited we are about our upcoming 35 year anniversary. We are really excited and we have some really cool things planned at the shop throughout the month of November. Stay tuned because I will be announcing it all in the coming weeks.

I have been thinking about getting some really cool artwork in the store for a long time. I always personally loved artwork and I think it really can transform a room. Well, I found a great set of artwork that I bought into the shop and wanted to share with everybody some of the pieces. Check out the gallery below. Obviously these are all for sale in the store so don't hesitate to come by and see them in person.

The Renovation 10/09/2010
 
Over the years Dellis Furniture has gone through many iterations. We first started out selling second hand furniture, then in the early 1990's we worked with local manufacturers to sell new bookshelves and pine pieces. That success led us to work with more and more wholesale furniture suppliers, both locally and internationally to the point where we now bring in containers full of the latest furniture pieces from across the world every month.

What most of our recent customer don't know is that the shop itself has changed over the years. Perhaps most dramatically in the last 12 months, where we undertook what can only be described as a huge renovation project. I have included some of the photos from the before and after shots here so people can see the transformation for themselves.

Hey everybody,

It has been a long time coming, but we are finally live with a cool website. As this is my first blog post, I though it made sense to share with you exactly what we intend to do with the website.

First of all, I want the website to be a place that new customers can go to learn about Dellis Furniture. I want to tell everybody who we are and why we exist. Given we are closing in on our 30 year anniversary, I think it says a lot that we have survived and thrived over the years.

This website will serve to show people what type of furniture we carry too. This may seem boring, but I cannot tell you the number of times that people ask me what's the "in-thing" this year. I spend a lot of personal time traveling to all our suppliers and all the furniture shows, and I intend to show people exactly what we are buying, sharing photos and telling them what I see on my travels.

Finally, this website will be a great place to get a great deal. The website will have lots of specials, new arrivals and close-out stock that will sell at well below market values. This is where you will be able to awesome deals. Don't forget to also sign up for our monthly email newsletter, because we will have lots of specials and other exciting announcements there.

I would love to get feedback from people on what they think of the site, and whether they want to see anything else on dellisfurniture.com.
