Our Terms & Conditions
GENERAL

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not access this website or buy our products.

PRICES
1. Prices displayed are in AUD and include GST, but excluding delivery. All pricing is subject to change without notice. Dellis Furniture may vary prices in the event of price changes or mistakes made by suppliers on reasonable prior notice to you. If Dellis Furniture requests payment for increased prices, you may cancel an order by giving notice to Dellis Furniture, which must be received within seven days of the announcement of the increase.

QUOTATIONS
2. Quotations are valid for 4 weeks barring errors or omissions. Prices are ex-factory and an additional freight component must be charged.

DESIGN MODIFICATIONS
3. Modifications to Australian made products outside the standard specifications and measurements may be possible. All requests for modifications must be discussed and are subject to Dellis Furniture’s approval. Additional lead-time and surcharge may apply.

SPECIFICATIONS AND IMAGES
4. All drawings, dimensions, samples, descriptive matter and specifications are intended as a guide only. Dellis Furniture reserves the right to change, alter or modify the design, dimensions, construction or costing of any item of furniture without prior written notice.
5. Some of the images of our products are digital renderings. Because they are not real pictures, the final product can have a different colour or different surface wood grain. Dellis Furniture will not accept any change of mind and/or returns in case the customers do not like the colour/tone or the grain of the final product.

TIMBER PRODUCT INFORMATION

1. COLOUR OF PRODUCTS
We take care to provide you with accurate descriptions of colour and images of the products; however it may be possible that the colour of your item may be different from the photos shown on your screen. Also, many of our products are handmade and there may be variance in colour or tone for this reason. We will not offer a refund due to a variation in colour. Please come visit us to check out products before purchasing if you have any hesitation in the purchas e.

2. IMPORTED PRODUCTS
Our recycled timber products are made from timber reclaimed from old houses, wooden boats, old doors, building materials etc. Due to the nature of recycled timber, the products will come with some natural imperfections. This type of timber gives this furniture a unique and individual charm. Sometimes, timbers may still have old slight paint marks in areas. The surface of each item may not be smooth, and unevenness may occur. Sometimes cracks/splits may occur in recycled timber, this is a natural occurrence of this type of timber and is no way a fault. Timber may then be used to fill these cracks, which will blend in with the appearance and give every item a unique look. Putty, wood glue and sawdust may be used to fill in cracks and gouges when necessary.

Old hardware, like bolts, nails, screws may be still visible in some items, otherwise, when these material s have been taken off, marks and dents may still be visible on the timber. The colour tones on the timber will vary from piece to piece. You cannot request a certain colour as all pieces come in their own individual colour and finish and no two pieces will ever be the same. This is part of the rustic recycled charm of this furniture. If you have any hesitations please avoid purchasing these products.

3. AUSTRALIAN MADE PRODUCTS
Dellis Furniture’s custom made items are handcrafted in Australia out of solid timbers and veneers. Being handmade, items can show a variance in colour or pattern, a proof that each piece is unique and made to order. All solid timber and timber veneer has, by nature, variations in grain, colour tone and texture. Dellis Furniture cannot guarantee that colour or wood grain of any piece of timber furniture will match different pieces. In addition, exposure to light and/or temperature changes can affect the condition of your furniture over time. Dellis Furniture will not offer a refund due to a variation in colour from the depicted on our website and your screen.

ORDERS
1. The total invoiced is to be paid on placement of the order.

2. Furniture orders can be paid by PayPal, Credit Card or cash/EFTPOS on pick up.

3. For Australian Made Items, orders will be emailed to customers for approval. It is customer’s responsibility to read through all information provided and double check specs and details prior to signing off. All orders will be amended and emailed back to the client until correct. Manufacture of furniture will commence once both approval and deposit are sorted.

4. Once approved, any request for subsequent changes on your order must be sent in writing. There’s no guarantee provided that the changes requested can be done. Any variation or cancellation agreed to by Dellis Furniture may incur additional costs.

5. Any orders on Australian made standard ranges have a lead-time of approximately 7-9 weeks. For custom made pieces, lead-time is approximately 10-12 weeks unless stated otherwise. Upholstery items lead-time starts from the moment the manufacturer receives the material in the factory from the suppliers.

6. All custom orders (ie. orders that are not our standard sizes, colours or designs) must be signed off by the customer. Dellis Furniture will not accept any change of mind and/or returns on custom orders.

7. Usually, custom orders begin production immediately upon order and are built to your specifications. They cannot be cancelled, changed, returned or refunded at any time. A non-refundable 50% deposit will be taken at the placement of order .

8. For Australian Made standard items, if the order is cancelled after 5 working days from receipt of deposit, a 30% cancellation fee will be deducted from the deposit received.

9. Goods purchased in separate orders (eg: orders placed months apart), can’t be guaranteed to belong to the same batch, and may vary in terms of colour, finish and small details. Suppliers and manufacturers constantly change materials, fabrics, hardware, etc and all finishing is handmade. For more chance of consistency in your order, we recommend purchasing items at once.

10. Dellis Furniture’s manufacturers order all fabrics and leathers on behalf of customers from various fabric houses. It is possible for customers who own material to provide it as long as it shows clear labels containing, supplier’s name and details, as well as order number and project/client’s name. A surcharge is applicable in this instance, please contact us for more info.

DELIVERY POLICY

1. Delivery fee is not included on quotes unless required.

2. Dellis Furniture can arrange delivery Australia wide in most cases, for most of our products.

3. Dellis Furniture can’t deliver to PO boxes.

4. If Dellis Furniture arranges the delivery, we accept responsibility for:
i. Booking the delivery in with one of our delivery companies.
ii. Any damages that occur in transit to the items.

5. Imported items will be delivered via courier and will require a signature upon delivery. Parcels will not be left unattended, unless required by the client upon order. Dellis Furniture can’t take responsibility by parcels that have not been signed off by the client.

6. Delivery of Australian made pieces require the service of a specialist removals company.

7. For items that are in stock, please allow up to 5-10 business days for delivery from dispatch date. Please note that this timeframe may be extended to remote areas, due to the frequency of delivery to the area by the carrier.

8. For custom orders, please allow approximately 7-9 weeks for Sydney deliveries and 9-10 weeks for interstate deliveries, from ordered date.

9. In most cases, the freight company responsible for the delivery will contact the customer to advise a delivery date and time. This notice usually takes place from 24-48 hours prior to delivery. If more time for organising a delivery time is needed, please let Dellis Furniture office know prior to ordering. In case we’re using a courier service, we can’t guarantee that they’ll be able to give the client this notice, and a tracking number will always be provided by us via email/ebay message.

10. Dellis Furniture requires all customers to check the items of furniture for damages before signing the delivery docket. Dellis Furniture checks all furniture prior to dispatch, and it is, therefore, the customer's responsibility to check for any damages on delivery. The delivery driver will hand the customer a delivery docket. By signing this document, the client acknowledges that the goods have been received in good condition. Inspection of products is required on delivery. Any damage must be noted on delivery docket presented to you by the carrier for signature. Notification is required within 24 hours to our sales office of any damages or shortages. We will not be responsible for any damage unless we are notified within a time period specified above.

11. Once the delivery docket is signed, the customer has acknowledged that the goods have been received in good order and has accepted the goods in that condition. Therefore, it is important to check the items thoroughly before signing this delivery docket.

12. If any of the items has been damaged in any way, items have not been received, or the item is incorrect in any way, please do not accept the delivery or sign the delivery docket for the relevant item(s). If an item is damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.

13. Any damaged items will be replaced by Dellis Furniture as soon as possible. The item(s) will be repaired at the discretion of Dellis Furniture. The customer will be advised of a new delivery time for the items(s) once they are ready for dispatch.

14. Freight is quoted based on delivery to ground level. Please advise if there are stairs or if access is difficult, as the freight company will not deliver unless advised in advance. Extra charges may apply.

15. It is the customer's responsibility to check that access is feasible for delivery of the item prior to ordering/purchase. Please be conscious of passages that could cause delivery issues (e.g. stairwells, hallways, doorways, elevators, etc.) and may result in possible additional delivery charges. Dellis Furniture, therefore, will not take responsibility for an item that does not fit through the access area or the designated space in the customer's home. If you live in an apartment/unit with lift access, please make sure that the furniture items ordered fit inside the lift for access to all levels. Please contact us via email for any measurements you may need of our products prior to ordering. Dellis Furniture will not be held liable and will accept no claims on this basis. No returns on any furniture items, or custom made orders will be accepted if the customer has not taken this into consideration prior to ordering.

16. Oversize, extremely heavy or fragile items cost more to courier and will incur an additional delivery surcharge.

17. Some furniture may require assembly. If your furniture is delivered, the assembly is available for an additional fee. Please contact us for the prices of assembly on different furniture items. It's the customer's responsibility to let Dellis Furniture know prior to delivery that assembly is required so that our drivers have the correct tools for assembly. All assembly fees must also be paid prior to delivery, as we use third party courier services, and drivers cannot accept cash on delivery.

18. If the customer arranges their own delivery from the Dellis Furniture showroom or warehouse, Dellis Furniture holds no responsibility once the item(s) leaves our premises.

ETA (ESTIMATED TIME of ARRIVAL)

19. Please note that these are estimates and our delivery companies will try their best to meet these on all occasions; however please be aware that circumstances may change and things can go wrong, making delivery take place later than expected. The ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) on all orders is only to be used as a guide. Dellis Furniture is not responsible for delays on Australian made or imported products due to third party problems (manufacturing delays, material delays, shipping delays, customs or quarantine, depot delays etc). Dellis Furniture does not offer refunds due to delays on orders or deliveries.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

20. We will upload your tracking number onto your sales record area as soon as delivery is arranged. Please send us a message if you need assistance with tracking your order.

COMBINED SHIPPING
21. Yes, we combine shipping costs for multiple items/orders to the same delivery address. To have your shipping costs combined, please follow the below steps.

a. Click 'Buy It Now' on each item you wish to purchase.
b. Before you start the payment process, send us an eBay message requesting Combined Shipping.
c. We will send you an invoice with the cheaper shipping cost as well as all the items you are purchasing.

PICK UP
22. Pick up is available for most of our furniture and homewares, please let us know at checkout if you would like to pick up your purchase or contact us if you require further details.
